Here's an excerpt from my upcoming paranormal romance release of a forbidden love between two supernatural hunters Tamara and Nicholas! I hope you enjoy this selection from Blood Moon on the Rise (available from Amazon on May 22st).  Here the hero, Nicholas is comforting Tamara because she'd been forced to take out a vicious shapeshifter that had nearly killed them.

“See, no blood,” he murmured and did something he knew shouldn’t have. He kissed the insides of her calloused palms, willing away all the pain and heartache she felt for taking a life. His magic sparked from his fingers and lips, sinking into her skin, warming her with the heat and comfort it could provide.

She shut her eyes at the touch of his lips on her skin, and then he gently pulled her into his arms. She nuzzled her cheek against his chest, and they watched the stars move over the sky together. From that moment, he knew he loved her and no other.

His magic was inside her, twisting its tiny tendrils of power in her heart, connecting him to her in a way that could never be undone. She was free to leave him, free to love someone else, but he bound himself to her, sealing her with a protection only the deepest, purest magic could give, and love was the strongest magic there was.

          Tamara was lost to the world of the waking, her luscious body relaxed and loose, her lightly tanned skin a compliment to the red bedspread beneath her. Like an erotic fantasy centerfold spread, she made him want to rouse her to wakefulness and do all the wicked, sinful things he’d ever dreamed about. Yet, at the same time, he was moved by the vision she presented, a warrior finally at rest, if only briefly. It was a sight he never got used to; every second she was awake she was a coiled spring, ready to fight. With her raven hair cropped at the chin, she looked like a rebel, but her gray eyes held a haunting sadness, an echo of his own emptiness. Blood Moon on the Rise- Upcoming Release

Hi Guys!

I recently learned that Blood Moon on the Rise, the first novella in my paranormal romance series about supernatural creature hunters will be available on Amazon May 1st, 2013! 

The series is set in modern day Detroit where the secretive Brotherhood of the Blood Moon has its world headquarters. Hunters and their magically gifted trackers work for the Brotherhood to contain the threats of supernatural creatures and protect innocent lives.

Eight Sentence Sunday!

Here's a tidbit from my soon to be released steamy regency romance called Wicked Designs (Samhain January 2014). Innocent but brave Emily Parr has learned just who has kidnapped her.

“Miss Parr, I’m not sure if you know exactly who I am.”

Godric could have punched himself for the flash of pain in her lovely eyes when she finally met his gaze.

“I know who you are. The Duke of Essex. A veritable devil, or so the ladies say. You bring ruination upon a woman with one look.”

“Just a look? I thought I had to at least say a 

lady’s name…” he chuckled, but she did not laugh.
